Week 1: January 10, 2023, 7 p.m.

The Changing Church

Our church is at a crossroads.

Pope Francis is pushing for a more open church – a renewal and reinvention of the spirit of Vatican II.

A synodal process was completedthat listened to the voices in the pews. What did these voices say and where does our church go from here?

Week 2: January 17, 2023, 7 p.m.

Time for Healing

We are all frustrated with our polarized partisan church. The harder we try to hold onto all that we believe to be truth,

the more division we create. How do we learn to accept and appreciate the gifts we are to each other? How can love

overcome ego?

Week 3: January 24, 2023, 7 p.m.

Defending our Faith

We often encounter challenges from others about what Catholics believe.  Non-believers as well as those from other faith traditions confront us withfalse Catholic teachings as their justification for attacking the Catholic Church. Learn how to engage with others by anticipating their questions and having responses ready.

Week 4: January 31, 2023, 7 p.m.

Call to Holiness

The question today is, “What path does our church take as it moves forward?”

Do we fight to keep things as they are (or used to be), or do we listen to God telling us what we need to do to grow?

We will talk about the

importance of recognizing our call to holiness with a foundation in our person relationship with Jesus.
